And there is a lot to expect! Most of Apocalypto’s garments are gender neutral: that’s nothing new, but it is a matter of attitude! We cannot put kids into boxes, they fill their space and express themselves in their own way. Every child is free. Every child is an innovator. What’s also cool about Apocalypto is that they bring tweed (back) to children’s fashion – this fancy fabric is being used in bomber jackets and wide-legged culottes, in skirts… basically everywhere. And that’s gucci!
The embroidered illustrations (big eyes and fairytale creatures) are designed by a talented artist Eili Lepik. All the fabrics used are of the highest quality and a lot of innovation has been applied to make the pieces edgy and fun. Congrats to Sandra Ojamäe, the wizard behind the brand, for being bold and unique!
Meet Apocalypto Kids in Florence, at Pitti Bimbo this January. And boy-oh-boy, expect a lot from them to come in the future also!
